My Photographer Story

Where It All Started

I enrolled in photography school in 2011 to tune my architectural skills. Soon I was obsessed with the craft and expanded my focus (pun intended), taking course after course, building my technical skills. I studied environmental portraiture (portraits in your environment), urban landscapes, and of course, architectural photography.

Over time I also found myself shooting products, destinations, and food.

When I shoot a commercial project, my heart and passion are engaged. As Co-Chair of the Sugar House Chamber,  I’ve had the privilege of interviewing and photographing numerous businesses, highlighting the people behind the signs. Helping businesses thrive is my mission.

My images have been published by Nikon Image Chaser, Ski Utah, Huffington Post, and Liftopia, to name a few. That said, your project is my priority.

What’s your story? Please call or email me to discuss or to schedule a shoot.

Testimonials

Erika is fantastic to work with! I hired Erika to create a small library of professional photos to use for work. She came to my office the day before to check out the lighting. We had such a great time doing the shoot. She was beyond professional and her photos were top notch! If you are looking for photos from an expert, Erika is amazing!

STACY CHAMBERLAIN

Erika is a creative and professional force. She scouted the property in advance to determine the best time to shoot, then took incredible photos that depicted even more than what we thought we wanted and delivered her work quickly and in a user friendly format.

ANDY MARSTON

Erika is wonderful to work with and really has an eye for photography! Highly recommended!
